Why Choose Stanborough Primary School?

Choosing the right primary school is one of the most important decisions a family can make. At Stanborough Primary School, ages 2-11, we combine strong academic outcomes with exceptional pastoral care in a small, nurturing environment where every child is truly known.

Here’s what makes our school distinctive:

Small Class Sizes and Individual Attention

With small year groups, our teachers are able to give each child personalised support and challenge. Every pupil is recognised as an individual, helping them grow in confidence and achieve their full academic potential.

Exceptional Pastoral Care

We are a values-led school where kindness, respect and resilience are woven into daily life. Our close-knit community creates a genuine family feel, ensuring children feel safe, supported and happy at school.

Strong Academic Foundations

We are proud of our strong academic outcomes and our focus on high standards in reading, writing and mathematics. Pupils are well prepared for the next stage of their education.

Preparation for Secondary Success

Our pupils consistently move on to their first-choice secondary schools, including grammar and consortium schools. We support children academically and emotionally throughout the transition process, including preparation for 11+ assessments where appropriate.

LAMDA and Confidence Building

Through LAMDA speech and drama opportunities, children develop public speaking skills, self-confidence and resilience, qualities that support both academic success and personal development.

Outdoor Learning Environment

Our outdoor learning spaces encourage curiosity, independence and teamwork. Learning beyond the classroom helps children develop problem-solving skills and a love of the natural world.

A Values-Led Christian Ethos

Our Christian values underpin school life, shaping behaviour, relationships and the way we support one another. We welcome families of all backgrounds and nurture a culture of respect and inclusion.

At Stanborough Primary School, children are encouraged to aim high, support one another and grow into confident, compassionate learners. Stanborough Primary School has given both our girls a wonderful start, beginning from Nursery. The school builds strong foundations not only academically but spiritually and emotionally too. Their teachers nurture character, confidence and kindness, creating an environment where children feel supported, valued and encouraged to grow. We are grateful for a school that cares for the whole child and helps them thrive in every area of their lives.
As a parent, I鈥檓 extremely pleased with Stanborough Primary School. The school achieves excellent academic results while also promoting strong moral values like respect, kindness, and responsibility. The teachers are supportive and dedicated, creating a nurturing environment where children thrive both academically and personally. Highly recommended! Both of my boys are studying there.
I have found that my children have flourished tremendously in this school. They have attended this school since nursery and I have found my children growing in character, good social etiquette and definitely academically
