From the Micklem Primary School
We aspire to be the best that we can be since we are a "good" school.
We rigorously focus on the key competencies of reading, writing, math, scientific comprehension, and computing as the foundation for all learning.
But we also lay a lot of focus on having fun while learning and having firsthand experiences.
To make sure that Geography, History, Art, and Design Technology are taught in a meaningful and useful way, often supplemented by guests or travels, we adopt a themed approach.
We are adamant about fostering a passion of learning in the kids.
We've adopted a growth minded perspective in all we do.
To be resilient and appreciate learning obstacles, we put our attention on our four core learning abilities.
At Micklem, we praise good behaviour in the classroom and around the school because it promotes good behaviour overall.
Our extensive enrichment programme currently consists of music, sport, dancing, culinary, reading, and gardening.
Micklem has a strong sense of community.
We give parents many of chances to visit the school through activities including assemblies, "learn with your child," family learning, and PTA events.
We have a breakfast club and an after-school programme for our working parents.
I would be more than pleased to tour you around our school and address any questions you may have if you are considering Micklem for your child.
To schedule a visit, kindly get in touch with the school office. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
